Welcome to Park Avenue Elementary
Working together with our school community, our mission is to ensure a safe, supportive and respectful environment which promotes the development of individual potential and enthusiasm for life-long learning.
Frank J. Ney Elementary is situated in a beautiful, natural setting surrounded by green spaces, trails and a stream. The school has the use of the neighbouring Harry Wipper Park field for class and recess/lunch activities.
We are a larger sized elementary school of over 400 students from grades K to Grade 7. Our parent community is very active in the school and provides support through their work as a P.A.C. (Parent Advisory Committee) and as volunteers in a variety of capacities throughout the year.
In addition to the many varied curricular activities at each grade level, students have opportunities to be involved in athletics (track and field, football, volleyball, basketball, floor hockey, etc.), and volunteer in clubs such as Student Leadership.
